You'll gain expertise in assisting patients with mobility, addressing hearing and vision impairments, and upholding patient rights while maintaining accurate documentation. Hands-on training will cover vital sign assessments, activities of daily living (ADLs), basic patient care, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.

Program Summary:

Our Nursing Assistant (NA) program is a comprehensive pathway to a rewarding healthcare career. With a flexible approach, we offer a minimum of 60 hours of online classroom theory and 100 hours of hands-on practical training. This program focuses on teaching students the essential principles of nursing, equipping them with the skills required to meet patients' physical and psychological needs while promoting restoration and independence. Successful completion prepares students for the California state exam and certification regulated by the CA Department of Public Health, paving the way for a fulfilling journey in healthcare.

Prerequisite: 

  • None 

 

Requirements:​

  • Minimum (16) years of age

  • Valid driver’s License or State ID 

  • Physical Examination 

  • TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray

  • Flu Vaccine (September -April)

  • COVID-19 Vaccination (Booster if applicable)

  • Complete Enrollment Agreement

  • Complete (Form CDPH 283B)

  • Live Scan Fingerprinting

 

Course Schedule (options): TBD

  • Monday – Friday: 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. (30 days)

  • Saturday – Sunday: 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. (10-weeks)

 

Cost:

  • $ 2,075 Tuition

  • Financial options available for those who qualify. 

  • Payment Plan Options Available, the breakdown is based on course duration.​

Grade Requirements:

  • Completion of all assigned coursework with a minimum success rate of 70%.

  • Lancaster, CA

  • Video Conferencing: Access to a computer, laptop, or smartphone with a webcam for video conferences.

  • Email Address: A valid email address for course communication.

  • Internet Access: A non-mobile device with internet connectivity is required to watch live lectures and submit coursework.

  • Microsoft Office: Access to Microsoft Office for coursework-related tasks.

  • Email Code: Upon registration, you'll receive a custom email code to access course materials via your personal email.
